Most
often you get what you pay for, i.e. my campsite. Awoke this morning to a
cacophony of sound between rubber tires, chip seal asphalt, roaring engines and
whining transmissions reverberating across the valley. In the lull, the soft
soothing flow of the river across the bed of stones filled the gap…
Had
breakfast at a local Café, choosing an Oyster breakfast item with scrambled
eggs, hash browns and two toasted slices (actually slabs) of the cafe's
homemade Molasses bread. Delicious!
Turning
south on Route 101 I rode though thick fog, torrential downpours north of Coos
Bay, OR, and eventually beautiful clear sunshine.
