Walter was at the HD dealer at 0900 this morning, however we didn’t get out of there till 1045. I then had to mail some unneeded stuff back home, next we went searching for coffee. Now here in the epicenter of Sawbuck’s and other copycat coffee shops, you’d think we’d find something quickly? Wrong, we found the “Pink Cupcake” :) Cupcakes were great!

Our first stop was Boeing Aircraft in Mukilteo, WA. It was amazing to see so many planes of various models and configuration being prepared for delivery to the customer. I’ve been on this journey 49 days now, Boeing produces a 777 every 48, so there has been one plane manufactured and ready to deliver once the last third of the $295M is handed over, and that doesn’t include the cost of the interior and other customer specific options. A 747-8 cost $350M. WOW!

We then rode to Anacortes, WA so that we’d be at the San Juan Ferry first thing tomorrow, but with 78 motels in town there wasn’t a room to be had.
