- Lance had to back out of the trip due to business issues... he did put his bike together though, all it took was a sprinkling of "$$$"! Runs great too!
- Steve back out of joining us in Anchorage for the run to Deadhorse!
- Another change of mind, Steve will now meet me in Anchorage for the Deadhorse run... will be nice to have a friendly face along and to share the experience.
Planning phase is done! Loaded the files (lot's of options) into the GPS and if I change my mind later on any destination, I'll just reprogram it when I have a chance to do so, otherwise I'll follow the road/trail... It'll be interesting later on when I plot the tracks to see how close I stayed to plan.
Again, those guys at LBBMW ROCK! Today they provided me a backordered Out of Stock Rear Tire I'm taking along as a spare, at a fantastic price to boot. Twisted Throttle let me down on a Rotopax Fuel container & mounting hardware, however the manufacturer came through and I'll be waiting for FedEx tomorrow. I don't have my brother Walter or friend Lance along this trip; to fetch me some fuel when I run out.
The bike is almost together, just putting everything in it's place and finding a place for everything - STRESSFUL!
This is a test of the embedded maps so that you may follow me during my travels. Shown is a regular Saturday morning run to Starbuck's to meet with the gang... 12-months ago you wouldn't believe how many of the guys were going on this trip! :)
