In two days it's Kickstand up

This post serves two purposes:

  1. Test the Blog functions again with a select group, it's better than having problems on the road.
  2. Ramble on about my leisurely work day :)

Work and/or Leisure? It's hard to get up in the morning and not head into work :) REALLY! I miss all the folks and the projects we worked on... working can be very rewarding. It's weird not being wanted... :( However, again Winnie to the rescue, the honey due list to complete before I go is keeping me very busy along with the stress of preparing for the GNA'13.

I stopped for breakfast in Ocean Park this morning and saw this "project" waiting to be rescued (restored)... First thoughts: Herb, my Kettle Corn buddy's business, Enchanted Kettle Corn in Albuquerque, NM. He loves those old obscure vehicles and this would really align with his business.

After checking off a few items on that honey due list this morning, I drove to City of Industry to attend an Open House at Machinery Sales Co. to see the new technology and the equipment being offered. Garry Frost, President at Machinery Sales Co. showed me some amazing artifacts created with these machines. I got met Andy, Dave, and Gary Smith who I worked with when we (RTN) purchased some new Hi-tech equipment from them.

Did I mention it was at least 10-15 degrees warmer out there? From Santa Monica 1.75h & CoI to HB 1.25h... I DO NOT MISS COMMUTING!

So now, it change into work clothes and tackle the bike again: mount the fuel container, recheck all fitting, and start putting the bags on for trial fit.
